Morris Alabama is a family-oriented community established in 1885. The town, with a population of approximately 2000 is part of a growing area in North Jefferson County. Several recently developed subdivisions and new businesses have added to the town’s growth. Morris has small town rustic ambience with the natural beauty of Turkey Creek and surrounding hills as well as several parks in the area.

Morris is home to the William E. Burkett Multi-Handicapped Center for Jefferson County students. Children in the Morris area are zoned for Bryan Elementary, North Jefferson Middle School, and Mortimer Jordan High School.
